Our Visionary Leader

Born in 1978, Ms. Suseela Santhosh was primarily inspired by the family she was born in. The joint family system supported her to be at the forefront of all the activities right from her childhood days. Her parents were teachers and Ms.Suseela enjoyed sitting with them when they graded papers or prepared their lessons.

There were limited resources and restrictions with regard to the exposure she received in her academic years but Ms. Santhosh was not beaten by the hurdles. She not only performed well in academics but was also an active participant in all interschool and intercollegiate dance competitions.

The real change started in Suseela’s life from the time she joined Nursing for a B.Sc. at Oxford College of Nursing.

Ms. Suseela Santhosh

Director

She realized how this profession looks beyond taking care of individuals – they take part in the rehabilitation of patients and also provide them with the required mental and physical support to get back in life. A very rewarding profession, this was the start of a journey from which she never looked back.

After working in the Nursing and health industry for a span 11 years, Ms. Santhosh decided to make a shift in her career from nursing to education in 2010. Her motivation for this move was the thought process that she developed after being in active health care of several patients. She realized that for bringing a change into a person’s life, their childhood is a very critical factor.

With this in mind, she decided to take her plunge into the education field and joined hands with C S Education Trust which was floated in the year 2011. The Trust was created with the primary aim of imparting quality education to students ingrained with our Indian culture and tradition and serving humanity at large.

Ms. Suseela Santhosh conceptualized, articulated, and implemented the Guru Shishya Parampara for VVPGS. She is the backbone of the group as well as one of the management team core members for VVPGS. She took over as Director from the year 2014.

In a very short span of time, she could achieve what very few could dream of. She is an outstanding educationist with a pioneering spirit and far-sighted vision which has led VVPGS to achieve its niche as the No. 1 ICSE School under the parameters of ‘Holistic Education’, ‘Individual Attention’, and ‘Value for Money. Under her leadership, the school was invited by the Government of China to promote educational & cultural exchange.

She also led the school to break the mold by participating in the Annual Skype-a-thon event held by Microsoft, Seattle wherein the students of Vishwa Vidyapeeth got a golden opportunity to visit virtual classrooms across the globe and indulge in cultural exchange programs.

With the addition of unique programs like Mother-on-duty and Parent Engagement Workshops, she has brought wonders to the school in a very brief span of time while keeping the core philosophy of the school intact – which is to retain and promote our rich Indian culture and tradition.

“At the very core of our humanity is our care for one another” – this is the mantra that has been always propagated by Suseela Santhosh. During the pandemic era, she has made marvelous achievements in her own way. She was also pivotal in ensuring that during such times the right message is sent out to the society and proper support is catered to all initiatives made by our honourable Prime Minister. During this time, she supported her staff and students in numerous ways making sure they got the proper support system to continue learning. The school also got recognition for the high quality of online classes being delivered during this period.

In short, she has been an excellent example of a silent hero who has worked tirelessly every day to ensure that her commitment to society is met without any expectations in return.
