 Krishna Janmashtami Celebration

Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Krishnashtami, Janmashtami, or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.

To mark the occasion, our children dressed up as Krishna and Radha and looked very vibrant and colourful.

Today, to enlighten our students about the Krishna story, all the pre-primary teachers enacted the Krishna play for all the children to understand how Krishna was born to put an end to all evil forces. Apart from the mythological relevance, Lord Krishna’s birth story combines various emotions like love, divinity, grief, and mischief for kids. The children thoroughly enjoyed it.

It began with chanting shlokas and singing Krishna songs by our tiny tots to the skit presented by teachers and culminated with dance and music.

The whole atmosphere was full of enthusiasm and happiness.
