Inter-House Fancy Dress Competition

The inter-house fancy dress competition provided the students of Grade 1 & 2 to express the rich cultural heritage associated with the festival of Dussehra. Students were dressed up as the characters of Lord Rama, Seethamathe, Hanumanji, Shabari and Lord Krishna. It was a splendid view to see the beautiful showcase of the mythological characters reflecting the spirit and essence of Dussehra. It was a golden opportunity for the students to present their talents in showcasing their costumes and briefly describing their characters.The competition was judged based on the students’ costume design, portrayal of the character, adherence to the theme and the overall presentation. This gave the students an opportunity to learn about our traditions and also at the same time express their creativity. The competition was a grand success where the audience witnessed the colourful and  mythological world of Dussehra.
