Innovative Exploration: Grade X Students Produce Biodiesel from Waste Cooking Oil

As it is rightly quoted….

“The only way to discover the limits of the possible….is to go beyond them, into the impossible.” Grade X Environmental Science students of Vishwa Vidyapeeth, prepared Biodiesel from waste cooking oil, under the guidance of Dr. Ms. Kartikeyeni.

This fuel is produced by transesterification, which is a process that converts fats and oils into biodiesel and glycerin (a coproduct).

The outcome was such that they could successfully start a flame using this unique innovative technique.
