chess
Our UKG children are very actively engaged in playing Chess as one of their main activity sessions. Children look forward to attending these sessions with our trained and qualified Chess teaching staff.
Chess promotes brain development. It triggers the creative function in the brain to enhance the person’s ability to think and process information. This game is a challenge to the brain and stimulates both the left and the right brain hemispheres, developing both logical and creative thinking and originality
Aside from developing cognitive skills, chess also develops children’s social skills. A benefit for children of playing games with rules consists in developing social aspects, such as taking turns, learning fair play, self-respect and respect for others, learn to win and lose both respectfully.
