Sanskrit day celebration
On 21st August 2024, on the auspicious occasion of World Sanskrit Day, our school organized a vibrant celebration that highlighted the beauty and significance of the ancient language. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a prayer in Sanskrit, invoking blessings for knowledge and wisdom.
The highlight of the event was a short skit based on stories from ancient Sanskrit literature, performed by the students of Grades 5 to 10. The skit was well-received, with the students delivering dialogues with impeccable pronunciation and expression. This was followed by a recitation of shlokas and verses from famous Sanskrit texts, resonating with the timeless wisdom they hold.
The day also included Singing, Shloka recitations, and Bhagavad Gita chapter-9, a drawing competition on Sanskrit where students enthusiastically participated, displaying their knowledge and enthusiasm for the language.
