Independence Day

Independence Day celebration marks the culmination of a long journey towards freedom, symbolizing the triumph of determination, sacrifice, and unity over oppression and subjugation. This annual observance is not just a commemoration of historical events; it is a celebration to honour the legacy of our nation’s heroes and ensure that their sacrifices were not in vain.

As we celebrated the 77 th Independence Day, our entire campus bloomed with patriotic fervor as the tri-colour crafts and rangolis embellished our walls and pathways, symbolizing freedom, unity and progress. The red-letter day saw a gathering of parents, students and staff to witness the flag hoisting accompanied by our national anthem. Through various cultural programs, dances, songs, and dance drama, students reinforced the idea that the nation is a tapestry woven with the threads of its people’s unique backgrounds, bound together by their love for nation and shared values. The speech of our chief guest Shree Basavaraj Umarani added a sense of importance and significance to the event.

As the day concluded, it was the time to recommit ourselves to the ideals that guided the struggle for independence and work towards a society where these ideals are fully realized.
