Hindi Diwas
Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm at IGCSE. A special assembly was conducted that began with the Opening Prayer. The youngest participants, students from Grades 1 and 2 , performed a Hindi song (geet) to kick off the festivities. This showcased their enthusiasm and early involvement in learning the Hindi language. Grade 3, 4, 6, and 9 students put on a skit that emphasized the significance of the Hindi language. In the skit, children creatively presented different languages spoken in the country, highlighting the diversity of India’s linguistic landscape.
Students from Grades 5 to 8 performed a dance that revolved around the importance of Hindi Bhasha. Dance is an expressive way to convey the cultural and emotional significance of the language.
The entire assembly was conducted in Hindi, reinforcing the importance of using Hindi as the medium of communication on Hindi Diwas.
