Sanskrit day celebration

Sanskrit Diwas was celebrated from the 8th to the 12th of August 2024, featuring various competitions for students from classes I to X, judged by renowned scholars. The celebrations culminated in a special assembly on 19th August, when esteemed Sanskrit scholar Dr. Arjuna S.R., Assistant Director of the Department of Student Affairs, graced the occasion as the chief guest.The day began with a Deepa Prajwalan and a melodious shloka, followed by Dr. Arjuna’s inspiring address on the importance of reviving Sanskrit, highlighting its historical significance and its advanced grammatical structure. Winners of the Sanskrit competitions were honored with medals and certificates were awarded by Dr. Arjuna and Principal Ma’am The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the students, expressing gratitude for the enriching experience.
