Our Team Engagement
The Equilateral Triangle between learners, educators and parents
01
Sports Day
Sports day is an occasion where students and staff come together for a day of competitive sport.
02
Annual Day
Annual Day forms an integral part of our school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements.
03
International Fest
The International Fest is an annual event at VVP, IGCSE. This is a fun fair with students and staff setting up stalls showcasing food, games, costumes of countries around the world and various states of India. This is a unique opportunity for students to understand the culture and traditions of another country in the world. The day aims at bringing together the VVP community, parents and friends.
04
Science Olympiads
Olympiad exams are designed with an intention and motive of giving a boost to the young minds and eliminating the fear of exams and also help them to learn the concepts in an easy and interesting way.
05
Inter School Competitions
Inter-school competitions encourage children in developing the ability to handle the pressure. Through such competitions, students gain a better understanding of how to deal with conflicting opinions and ideas while also adapting to new environments than their comfort zone.
01
Cambridge Community Meet
Cambridge School Communities are set up around the world to encourage collaboration – both by bringing Cambridge schools together, and by offering schools a new way of giving feedback to Cambridge regional teams.
02
Professional Development Workshops
Professional development refers to instructors developing and improving their skills to better meet the needs of their students. School has a continuous professional development plan for teachers throughout an academic year.
03
Team Building Activities
We do a lot of team building activities to motivate teachers and staff to work together, to develop their strengths, and to address any weaknesses. This encourages collaboration rather than competition.
04
Collaborative peer learning
The idea of collaborative learning comes out of the classroom and is as important for teachers as well. We see students put into groups to solve a problem or finish an activity together. These activities result in each student developing their strengths while also learning how to collaborate effectively with others.
05
Group Fun Activities
(Teachers’ day & Outing) – We have an annual leisure outing for teachers to foster their well-being and keep their spirits high from exhaustive work pressure.
01
Mother on Duty (मातृ देवो भव)
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we let mothers “see”, “live” & “believe” the process of holistic education with the “Mother-On-Duty (मातृ देवो भव)” Concept. This allows the mother of each student to take a tour of the school and evaluate the atmosphere that the children study in.
02
Parent Engagement Workshops
Parent Engagement Programs (PEP) workshops help parents to learn how to positively influence their children for success. Parents learn the importance of deliberately influencing children for their well-being.
03
Involvement with students at campus
We encourage parents to be a part of the school programs for events as judges and also involve them in making return gifts during celebrations like diwali, dasara etc. We also have parents come in large numbers with our younger classes to make clay Ganesha.
