Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme

Cambridge Lower Secondary has helped our students discover their potential. Cambridge Lower Secondary is a world-class education programme, typically for learners aged 11 to 14 years.

The Lower Secondary Programme ensures progression and continuity across various stages of learning in the school. At this stage, the curriculum progresses towards a detailed understanding of concepts through interpretation and evaluation and application and of knowledge.

The curriculum allows us to be flexible. Students are given exposure to English, Hindi/French, Math, Science, Global Perspectives, Computers, Art, Music which are adapted to suit the context, culture and ethos of our region. The resources provided by Cambridge such as the Curriculum frameworks(outline the curriculum structure and how learning is organised), Schemes of work (include medium and long term plans with suggested teaching and learning activities as well as key vocabulary and phrases), Teacher Guides (provide support in using the curriculum framework).

  • The assessment provides detailed information about the performance of each learner for their level. It also gives structured feedback to learners and parents. This helps the teachers to compare the strengths and weaknesses of individuals and groups.
