Dasha Prabodha

Life skills-based education focuses on cultivating personal life skills such as self-reflection, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Life Skill education is communication and interpersonal skills; self-awareness and empathy; assertiveness and equanimity; resilience and coping with emotions and coping with stress. Life skills are very important in our lives. It polishes the ability to adapt to all kinds of circumstances and succeed in every aspect of society. Through Dasha Prabodha a child learns 10 skills by the age of 10 which prepare them for real life.

In pre-primary we cover Music, Clay modeling, an Art form, Public speaking and Bhagavad Gita. All these activities not only sharpen the skills of children but help them know the difference between right and wrong which helps them acquire decision-making skills. Dance supports a child's physical development and strengthens their mind-body connection. Music and movement helps children to learn new things, like sounds, words and patterns through music. The generation of rhythmic vibes during the chanting of shlokas has a harmonious and therapeutic influence on the body. It is believed that chanting shlokas helps boost the immunity system of a child naturally.

Brain -Train

Brain training (also called cognitive training) is a program of regular activities purported to maintain or improve one's cognitive abilities. Cognitive skills are brain-based skills that are needed in the acquisition of knowledge, information, and reasoning. Through practical and live experiments, we help our children learn by doing activities so that the learning process registers in the brain and the child has a clear understanding of how and why aspects of each scientific experiment.

Organic Farming

Food also plays an important role in the curriculum at our school. We teach our children how to grow things on their own to inculcate positive attitudes, appreciate healthy eating habits as well as create environmental awareness about the importance of this important resource and curb wastage practices. Leading by example, our in-house kitchen incorporates meals with such organic food grown at the campus.

Reading Library

An emphasis on reading and student literacy helps develop higher levels of focus and concentration. It helps in vocabulary expansion and strengthens writing abilities. Enhances knowledge and increases imagination and creativity. Reading involves three major processes: word recognition, comprehension, and fluency. Each of these plays a vital role in fully mastering the skill of reading. Reading keeps young minds active and gives children the chance to discover new books and new authors. Most children, who have access to libraries, read more, have better language skills, and a broader literary taste. Therefore, for our Pre-primary children, we will be having a Reading Library where books will be designed in accordance with the syllabus taught and children will learn the discipline of sitting in the library as well as steps of reading to achieve greater levels.

Inter-School competitions

Participating in competitions helps students emotionally by building their self-esteem and confidence. Competition will help them know what they are capable of, how strong they are, and what they can endure. Competitions play a vital role in motivating students to perform and enhance their creative skills as well. Inter-school competitions offer an excellent opportunity to showcase their extraordinary talents or hobbies in front of others. It motivates the students to push their limits and beat their opponents, as well as perform better than others. Thus, it provides children a platform to observe, explore, engage, and excel.

Outdoor Play

Children who are involved in regular outdoor play benefit from increased flexibility and gross motor skills.Spatial awareness is also a skill that outdoor play helps to make children aware of.

Physical Education

Children will learn to handle stress in healthy ways and develop higher self-esteem.It boosts confidence, sportsmanship and teamwork.
