Makara Sankranti

Vishwa Vidyapeeth celebrated Makara Sankranti with vibrant cultural spirit, joy, and gratitude. The programme included an informative session on the cultural, agricultural, and spiritual significance of the festival, followed by traditional dances and melodious songs. A special State-wise Cultural Showcase highlighted India’s diverse traditions and the spirit of unity in diversity. Students also participated in a traditional Pongal Making activity, reflecting gratitude towards nature and farmers, followed by an energetic Kite Flying activity that brought the celebration to a cheerful close.
