Rules & Regulations for Parents’ / Guardian

  • The School is the second home of the child, and the children are expected to take care of the school like his/her own home.
  • Parents are advised not to send any kind of valuables with children to school such as jewellery, expensive items, mobile phones etc.
  • The school follows a zero tolerance policy when it comes to a students’ safety and security in the premises and each and every member of the faculty ensures this but even though, as known with children, they can be  prone to accidents for no fault of anyone: God forbid in such cases we expect the parents to be patient and understanding and at no point of time are they permitted to hurl abuses at any member of the school or misbehave with anyone but calmly and amicably deal with such a situation; if found otherwise as experienced a zillion times before, your wards’ name will be struck off the school rolls.
  • Parents are to follow all rules, regulations and policies of the school without
  • Decorum and discipline to be maintained by parents in and around school campus.
  • Parents are not permitted to ask questions regarding the school policies nor are they allowed to give any suggestions until asked.
  • Without prior written appointments, parents are not permitted to enter the management office.
  • Parents are not allowed to misbehave with any staff of Vishwa Vidyapeeth; if found otherwise, then at the school’s discretion theycan be asked to leave the premises.
  • The School has always taken responsibility when it comes to academics and other areas of your ward’s education but this does not authorize any parent to question the school without cause or otherwise; further to this, parents have to take their share of responsibility and ensure that work assigned for home is duly completed.
  • Matters pertaining to academics should be strictly addressed to the faculty
  • Any queries by parents should be first addressed to the class teacher via the school diary.  It may then be brought to the coordinator if it is not resolved.   If the matter is still unresolved, it should be then brought to the notice ofthe Principal.
  • Parents should ensure that a conducive environment is provided at home and their ward puts in regular study hours at home.
  • A student can be granted leaveof absence only for a valid reason; Pooja and family functions will not be considered a reason for sanctioning leave.
  • Every circular given by the school should be duly acknowledged by the parent. ·In case a student has taken leave without prior sanction, he / she will not be   allowed to attend classes until and unless a written application is submitted.   No debate on this matter will be entertained.
  • No late comings for any reason will be accepted and your ward will not be allowed inside the campus; none of the parents are allowed to ask otherwise.
  • Attendance is mandatory for each and every student during every school event and more so if they are the main participants, they cannot be excused   for any reason.
  • Discipline is of utmost importance and we expect parents to cooperate with us regarding any disciplinary measures incorporated by the school.It is mandatory for parents to attend all PTMs during the academic session   and also adhere to the timings given if they wish to discuss the performance   of their wards. No other days will be scheduled for this specific purpose
  • Fees should be paid on or before the scheduled dates. If parents default, they will have to pay a fine along with the due amount. No discussion will be entertained in this regard.
  • The students should be dropped and collected from their pick up points at the stipulated time. The buses will not wait for students if they are lateAny grievances related to transport should only be addressed to the transport coordinator; no issue should be discussed either with the driver or any other staff; period.
  • Parents and Guardians are not allowed to walk into class or interview teachers during school hours. Any parent can take prior appointment with the concerned teachers in case they wish to find out the progress of the child.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the School by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking general interest in their children’s progress
  • Parents should check the Diary daily and note the teacher’s remarks etc. Parents should ensure to scrutinize and sign the monthly reports and terminal examination results. Remedial measures should be promptly taken.
  • Every student ought to devote sufficient time for private study daily.
  • The school does not guarantee the success of a pupil’s studies unless the parents or guardians co-operate with the school authorities and do their part by enforcing regularity discipline. For this, we require parents to ensure that children do their homework and prepare the lessons daily. Punctuality and regularity in attending classes is a joint responsibility. To ensure imbibing right values, parents should make sure that children attend all school functions such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Sports Day etc.
