Vishwa Vidyapeeth proudly celebrated National Mathematics Day by organising Ganitha Mela from December 18th to 22nd, 2023. The event, held under the theme “Ganitha: Exploring the Infinite Possibilities of Mathematics,” aimed to make mathematics exciting and accessible for all students, reflecting the school’s philosophy of “Learning by Doing.”
The Ganitha Mela brought together students from Vishwa Vidyapeeth as well as other schools, engaging them in a variety of interactive activities. From math games and puzzles to workshops, the students explored mathematical concepts and connected them to real-life situations in a fun and hands-on way. The event also celebrated India’s rich cultural heritage, with performances of yoga, folk dances, and traditional music that highlighted the symmetry found in both mathematics and art.
