Annadata Sukhibhava

The Zero Hunger Challenge was launched by United Nations as a part of the Sustainable Developmental Goals and they rightly described it as the first priority of human existence. At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we believe that achieving this goal is our “Shared Commitment” and NOW is the time to work as partners to take forward this global movement.

We want our children to experience the emotion of ‘JOY’ by giving. So, we humbly request you all to support us with the launch of the new programme named “अन्नदाता सुखी भव”.

As part of this programme, we have been doing two major activities:

1. Collection of raw materials from students and staff in minimal quantities to make a pool. This raw material will be collected rotationally once in 15 days. This information will be shared with students by their respective class teachers.

2. Cooking of food on campus & distribution of same to the underprivileged:

The raw material once collected is cooked every Saturday at campus & served to needy people. Parents have volunteered to join us in this noble cause.

Vishwa Vidyapeeth students will not end their efforts towards the Zero Hunger Drive with just one activity but consistently work towards the same in equal intervals. Of course, the support of our parents is quintessential to support us to make this campaign a success. We look forward to your suggestions and support as always!
