Teacher Exchange Program

VISIT TO CHINA:

On invitation from Chinese Government and as a part of exchange program, our seniors Chairman Mr Y Jagadish Raju and Director Ms Suseela Santhosh went on a visit to different educational institutions of China. On March 15th, 2017 the team visited Yunnan Minzu University (MDFZ). They met the School Principal, Mr. Li Xingfu and his leadership team. They also visited Xiamen University for a fruitful discussion at their Xiamen Urban Planning Exhibition Centre. Today they had a visit to the Fuzhou No.1 high school which is the 1st best school in Fuzhou province. There were elaborate discussions with the Principal of the school, Mr. Li Xun.

The best part of the exchange programme was that it has been an amazing learning experience as Our Chairman and Director could interact with several school leaders on a Beneficial partnership. School leaders of various Institutions in China were delighted to build on this partnership after an interaction with the VVP team on its unique features for its learners. After an impressive showcase of our state Karnataka and VVP’s salient and unique features the possibility of an interesting exchange programme seems promising. Discussions on topics that exchange can happen, keeping learning as the key factor is of paramount importance.

TEACHERS FROM CHINA AT VVP

Valuing its own culture and tradition, Vishwa Vidyapeeth believes in respecting culture of other countries too.  Under the auspices of   Yunnan Minzu University, two graduate students, Ms. Vera and Mr. Zhu, from China visited our campus as a part of the cultural exchange programme. We had them teaching Mandarin for the ICSE & Cambridge students as well as the teachers during their stay over here in our campus.  At the same time, the delegates also learnt our home languages like Hindi, English and Kannada. This was the initiation of the cultural exchange programme between the two schools.

To further promote cultural exchange programme they participated in the various events hosted by the school that will enhance their understanding on Indian as well as our school culture.

To explore more about Indian culture they visited historical places in India. Our students of Vishwa Vidyapeeth were able to understand and imbibe some of the cultural values shared by the delegates. Overall, it was a great enriching experience to have them aboard with us for three entire months. We thank Mr. Zhu and Ms. Vera for the sweet memories that they have shared with us during their time here in VVP.
