Vishwa Vidyapeeth School is emphatic about providing child-centric education and considering this we offer the ICSE curriculum in a way that is both interactive and experiential. We are a strong advocate of the Guru-Shishya tradition, which has been the hallmark of our rich culture and heritage. Since a single methodology will not suit all students, we have tailor made our curriculum to help your child get the best of academics, co-scholastic activities as well as sports programs.
- Interactive program with a more hands-on and activity oriented methodology.
- Regular assignments, subject specific projects and various levels of worksheets cater to each and every child further reinforcing the concepts taught. These are an on-going part of the curriculum.
- Three cycles of assessments and two term end examinations are catered to students to understand the knowledge and skills acquired by them throughout the year. The assessments are both written and oral varying from subject to subject. The schedule is pre-planned and incorporated into the school almanac at the commencement of the academic year itself.
- Regular inter-house and inter-school activities have become synonym with Vishwa Vidyapeeth which gives the students a platform to showcase myriad of talents and an exposure to healthy competitive spirit. At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, one of the top primary schools in Bangalore, these activities are an integral part of our commitment to holistic education.
Class 1 to 5 follows the experiential learning approach. It replaces the 1-step telling approach with a multi-step learning process as children learn best by action followed by reflection and feedback.
The teachers begin a class by stating the learning outcome of every lesson so students know beforehand what they will learn. Classroom session by activity to experience concept first-hand and learn their usage and application in real life. The next step is Analysis where probing questions are asked to understand the concepts further and then practicing the real life problems given in workbooks to reinforce the understanding and build skills of students. The final step is Assessment, which is spread across conceptual understanding, applied thinking & English language fluency.

- Third Language option will be offered from Class 5 to 8.
- Class 1 to 4 Hindi & Kannada both languages are compulsory and both are given equal preference.
- Students need to opt for two different languages for Second and Third Language options.
