Field Trips
Field Trips are one of the most exciting times for all children. It is an integral part of a child’s education, giving students a real time experience to enhance and support their classroom lessons. Students can retain a great deal of factual information through these field trips. It also helps them to expand the awareness of their surroundings. We arrange field trips to various places for effective learning. They visit places like lake, industrial areas, villages, botanical garden, public places like post office, fire station etc.
Interhouse Programmmes
Community is one of our maxims. Our Houses are like these small communities in themselves with their own distinctive character and atmosphere. Students are utmost loyal to their Houses and the many annual House competitions are keenly contested in a spirit of intense, but friendly rivalry.
Each House has its own Head Captains and House Monitors. Even the students are closely involved in the day-to-day running of the house along with the teachers. The main inter-house activities include both co – curricular as well as extra – curricular activities. There is a whole variety of inter house competitions and in many ways this has helped to bring the senior and junior students together for a common cause. The desire to bring points for their respective Houses outweighs all other commitments for these students.
House System
A number of activities are conducted under the house system with the guidance of house In-charges and house teachers. Children of all the houses (Aquila, Cygnus, Delphinus and Pegasus) participate in various Inter school and Inter house activities.
Vishwa Vidyapeeth hosts different interschool competitions which includes ‘Kaleidoscope’ (Interschool Art & Craft Mela), ‘Ecoventure’ (Interschool debate on ecological issues), ‘Nutcrackers’ (Interschool Preprimary competition) and ‘Boulderdash’ (Interschool Language festival). These types of inter-school competitions will help to build a sense of confidence and bonding amongst the students for their Alma Mater leading to overall development of a student. Competition not only enhances the spirit of staying ahead amongst students but also helps to hone their socialization skills. It will help them get a fair idea about where they stand in such events which in turn will encourage them to beat it to the top.
Workshops and Seminars are excellent vehicles for collective problem solving, developing new directions and strategies and supporting the team development process. Keeping this in mind, various Educational Workshops are conducted for children.

National Olympiad
The aim of introducing Olympiad exam is to provide a unique competitive platform through and identify the young geniuses and create a talent pool for the future. Olympiads are not just only the exams they do a lot more to bring out the best in a child. Trying for and giving Olympiads motivates students to strive for better. A rank in the Olympiad develops a sense of confidence in the students and their parents. These also help parents identifying the talent of their child. Olympiads problem being tricky and more conceptual help students understand the topic well. This ultimately improves routine class results. These exams help cultivate a kind of analytical thinking in the children which is useful in any examination, be it IIT-JEE or any other competitive exam.
