To which classes are admissions normally possible? What are the acceptable age limits?
Will the age limit be relaxed under any circumstances? Does it entail any ‘loss’ in time and learning potential, if the child is older in a class?
No, the age limit will not be relaxed for any classes. There are absolutely ‘no’ losses in your child’s life being older in a class. On the other hand, the child will find learning more fun, master the skills better and also you will not need to worry about the age restrictions placed for attempting Grade 10 exams.
What are the admission requirements?
The following criteria should be met to admit your child to our school:
• Procure, complete and submit the admission form at the school office.
• For all classes, there will be appropriate interaction rounds for the child as decided by the faculty.
• This will be followed by an interaction round with parents to help them clarify all their doubts about the programs & policies of the school.
• Post approval from the concerned authorities, you can go ahead with the admission process by submitting all supporting documents as required and paying the prescribed fee.
OR
For those seeking admissions online, an informal interaction will be conducted online in which both pupil and parents have to be present. The final decision of the admission committee will be binding.
How will a typical interview be like? Do we need to prepare the child for the interview?
We do not hold interviews, only meetings and interactions hence there is no need to prepare the child for the same. The idea is to get to know each other better. We wish to provide entire clarity to parents before they join our VVP family. The steps involved in this are:
- Fill up the enquiry form online – https://register.vishwavidyapeeth.edu.in/ Post this you will receive a call from the Admission team to guide you with the necessary details to get a complete idea regarding the school program, ethos, facilities, fees and other common queries. You can also plan to have a quick campus tour between 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Saturday and take up the same enquiry process in person with our team at campus. In case you would like to book an appointment, call us on 7022009731 / 7022009754.
- Issue of Admission Form – Once you confirm to proceed further, an admission form will be issued to you against payment of Rs. 1000 (UPI/Cash) which you need to fill in online. All relevant documents also need to be attached to this online form when you make the online submission. Once we verify the documents, a final date for interaction will be fixed and communicated to you.
- Interaction Process – Parents need to visit the school on the appointed date with their child. You will be meeting with the Head of the School/Head of Academics/Administrator so that you can acquaint yourself with all details regarding the school. The interaction is aimed at clarifying all your doubts with regard to the school, curriculum, your child’s safety and any other concerns that you might have.
- Admission Confirmation – Once you receive a confirmation mail from the school, you can pay the prescribed fee and submit pending documents (if any). This will conclude the admission process and further to this all joining details will be shared by the admission office.
