At our school, the Morning Assembly is not just a daily ritual — it is a powerful platform that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of every student. Inspired by the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP), we conduct multilingual school assemblies that reflect the rich cultural diversity and heritage of India.
Our assembly fosters discipline, unity, inclusivity, moral values, and leadership, while promoting holistic development through a carefully structured and meaningful start to each day.
Each assembly ends with a respectful and unifying musical segment, on a rotational basis:

Our Morning Assembly is a transformational space where students:
“Start your day right – with mindfulness, meaning, and motivation.”
Let us shape hearts and minds every morning, one assembly at a time.

The “Dharmika Dinachari” book has been distributed to all students at Vishwa Vidyapeeth. This book, which translates to “Righteous Daily Routine,” is designed to help children understand and practice values essential for personal and societal growth. The book encourages the cultivation of virtues such as honesty, kindness, and responsibility, promoting overall character development.
At our school, we believe that true leadership is cultivated—not assigned. It begins with responsibility, grows through participation, and matures with experience. To this end, we have implemented a holistic Leadership Development Programme designed to nurture leadership qualities in students from Class VI onwards, while laying strong foundational skills from the early years.
Student Executive Body – Leadership by Participation
Starting in Class VI, students in each section democratically elect peers to serve as Monitors across a range of key functional areas within the school. Elections are conducted through a secret ballot, fostering transparency, fairness, and early exposure to democratic processes.
Elected student monitors take responsibility for the following areas:
Our leadership framework is anchored in the belief that leadership is most effective when inclusive. We follow a philosophy of maximum participation rather than minority elitism, ensuring that more students are given opportunities to lead, contribute, and grow.
Complementing our leadership training, we have integrated a Peer Teaching Programme starting from Grade I. Conducted once every alternate week, these sessions allow students to step into the role of the teacher—sharing knowledge, explaining concepts, and engaging their classmates in interactive learning.
This early introduction to peer-led learning:
Together, our Leadership Development and Peer Teaching initiatives are designed to develop students who are not only academically strong but also socially responsible, emotionally intelligent, and future-ready leaders.
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we strongly believe in the power of student-led initiatives. Our students are encouraged to take active leadership roles in a wide range of school activities, including conducting inter-house sports competitions, leading revision sessions, organizing parent-teacher meetings, and hosting various school events.
These opportunities help students develop essential leadership skills such as team management, task delegation, and accountability. By taking ownership of these responsibilities, students cultivate a strong sense of discipline and maturity that positively impacts both their academic performance and personal growth.
We have seen firsthand how empowering students in this way fosters confidence and a deeper commitment to their community, preparing them to become responsible leaders of tomorrow.
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we hold a deep conviction that true education embraces every aspect of life—beyond the pages of textbooks, into the heart of nature itself. Rooted in our cultural ethos of living in harmony with the environment, we guide our students to become active stewards of the earth, not mere spectators.
Rather than symbolic gestures like candle marches or passive debates, we inspire our children to be living catalysts of positive change in society, recognizing the sacredness of a healthy environment as a foundation for life.
Through these roots of knowledge and action, Vishwa Vidyapeeth cultivates a generation deeply aware of their sacred duty to protect our environment—honoring the timeless bond between humanity and the earth.
Further to the launch of the Fit India Movement on 29th August, 2019 with a view to make Physical Fitness a way of life, VVP has decided to become a catalyst with regard to teaching students ‘How to Live’ which involves teaching and practising the art of taking care of one’s body and health daily. We encourage students to move from ‘Passive Screen time’ to ‘Active Field time’ and the aim of the objective is to develop Sports Quotient among all the students to achieve a healthy lifestyle. This has also helped us to instil in students the understanding for regular physical activity and higher levels of fitness enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we are dedicated to supporting our students’ future aspirations through comprehensive career guidance programs. These initiatives are designed to help students make informed decisions about their career paths and achieve their professional goals.
Our career guidance programs are an integral part of our commitment to student success. We encourage students to take full advantage of these resources to ensure a bright and prosperous future.
Cultivating Global Citizens through Model United Nations
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, the Model United Nations (VVPMUN) serves as a powerful platform where students step into the shoes of world leaders and diplomats, gaining a profound understanding of the workings of the United Nations and its various committees.
This esteemed activity challenges our students to engage deeply in research, thoughtful debate, and constructive dialogue—cultivating skills of critical thinking, leadership, diplomacy, and wise decision-making. Through VVPMUN, our young minds grapple with pressing global issues such as human rights, economic disparities, environmental sustainability, food security, and women’s empowerment.
Since 2019, our Yelahanka campus has proudly hosted this esteemed inter-school programme, creating a vibrant space where students from various schools come together to share perspectives, build consensus, and envision a better world.
Rooted in the values of harmony, respect, and responsibility, VVPMUN at Vishwa Vidyapeeth nurtures compassionate global citizens ready to contribute meaningfully to society and uphold the principles of peace and justice.
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, the Mentor-Mentee Program is a vital pillar in shaping a successful and fulfilling career path for our senior students. Rooted in the traditional value of Guru-Shishya (mentor-disciple) relationship, this program bridges the gap between faculty and students, offering a nurturing space for growth and guidance.
A mentor is not just an academic guide but a compassionate companion—providing emotional support, encouragement, and practical advice. Through this relationship, students receive holistic care that positively influences their perseverance, academic success, and overall well-being.
Each student is thoughtfully paired with a mentor who walks alongside them throughout the year, offering continuous support from daily check-ins to spontaneous conversations—ensuring an environment of trust and open communication.
This sacred bond aims to strengthen students’ diverse talents, cultivate resilience, and foster meaningful interpersonal connections between faculty and students, helping them navigate both educational challenges and personal growth with confidence and clarity.
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, through our Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action (SEWA) program, students develop a deep sense of community service and self-reliance. To strengthen this commitment, we have established the SEWA Club as an integral part of our academic framework.
From Grade 6 onwards, every student is encouraged to dedicate 30 to 50 hours annually to social service, tailored to their grade level. This hands-on involvement instills values of empathy, responsibility, and active citizenship.
Through SEWA, our students learn to appreciate the interconnectedness of humanity by working towards the welfare of the underprivileged and differently-abled. The experience fosters a strong awareness of their duties towards society and cultivates a spirit of service that extends beyond the classroom.
By empowering students with the SEWA Club, Vishwa Vidyapeeth ensures that acts of kindness and social responsibility become a lifelong practice, shaping them into compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
A student body will be nominated and appointed by the Principal in consultation with the teacher’s fraternity. Various prefects will be appointed who will look after the Discipline, Co-curricular and sports activities under the physical education department. Vishwa Vidyapeeth Student Council is nominated and conducted by the students under the supervision of the adults. Members of the student council are expected to maintain a high standard of personal conduct, must be in good standing with the faculty, students and administration and always maintain excellence in academics. The words and actions of members should lead their peers. At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we believe that the student council and its functions should be run upon the democratic parliamentary procedures.
Vishwa Vidyapeeth has been changing lives for many years with its motto of ‘Creating Hunger for Good Learning’. Its focus on education has positively impacted the students. Over the years, our vision has been for students to focus on achieving personal goals while contributing to society, especially after they graduate from our school. We also recognize that a strong alumni network benefits the institution and society, which is why the team at VVP works tirelessly to maintain connections with former students. We provide a platform for alumni to connect with their peers, share knowledge, volunteer, engage in social activities, and participate in charitable endeavours. We take great pride in our exceptional alumni and cherish the memories of our graduates.
