CBSE Workshop on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for School Education Vishwa Vidyapeeth School, Varthur was honoured to host an enriching and insightful CBSE Workshop on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for School Education – 2023, organized by the Centre of Excellence, Bangalore. The workshop brought over 60 passionate teachers and educators committed to reshaping and strengthening the future of Indian education. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed resource persons for the day, Mrs. Gowri B. Nataraja, Principal, J.S.S. Public School, Bangalore and Ms. Chinmoyee Basu, Head of Mathematics Department, Shri Ram Global School, Bangalore. Their valuable insights and expert guidance about NCF 2023, developed under the NEP 2020 guidelines, made the session truly impactful and thought-provoking for all attendees. Space Carnival 2025 | Celebrating National Space Day
Space Carnival 2025 | Celebrating National Space Day Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Magadha Campus, in collaboration with Genex Space, proudly hosted the Space Carnival 2025 on 23rd August, Bengaluru – a day filled with learning, curiosity, and inspiration! The event was graced by respectable dignitaries, including Ms. Suseela, Director, Vishwa Vidyapeeth, The Group of Schools, Lt. Col. Sumit Basu, Sports Director, Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Dr. Gayatri A.G., Principal, Vishwa Vidyapeeth. With 400+ enthusiastic participants from schools across Bengaluru, the carnival truly ignited young minds to dream big and reach for the stars.The day was packed with exciting and enriching activities such as a Space Lab visit, continuous Mobile Planetarium shows, documentary screenings, solar observation, rocket launch activity, and the Fly Your Plane challenge. Students also showcased their creativity and enthusiasm through a Space Art competition, interactive Space Games, Hand Print activity, and an engaging Space Photo Booth, making the carnival both educational and fun. Together, we nurture today’s learners to become tomorrow’s scientists, explorers, and astronauts — carrying forward India’s legacy in space exploration!

Visit to HAL Aerospace Museum On 5th August 2025, our Grade 5 and 6 students visited the HAL Aerospace Museum, Bengaluru, for an exciting and insightful experience. From vintage aircraft to flight simulators, students explored the wonders of aviation, learned about aerodynamics, and discovered HAL’s role in national defence—truly reflecting the spirit of Jai Jawan.

Visit to DGQA, Ministry of Defence On 16th July, students of Grades 8–10 visited the DGQA, Ministry of Defence, in Bengaluru. They gained valuable insights into how science ensures the quality and safety of defence equipment—reflecting the spirit of Jai Jawan. The visit connected classroom learning in science and engineering to real-world defence technology and opened students’ eyes to career paths in research, quality assurance, and national service. As we embrace the theme of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, we salute both our soldiers and farmers—the twin pillars of a strong and secure nation.
Blood Donation Camp
Blood Donation Camp With the support of Sankalp Blood Center, Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Magadha Campus hosted a Blood Donation Camp that touched lives and reinforced the spirit of giving within our school community.The event received a heartwarming response from our school community—including parents, staff, and well-wishers—who came together to support this life-saving cause. Each contribution made during the camp will go a long way in helping patients in critical need, while also inspiring our students with a powerful lesson in empathy and civic responsibility. A big thank you to all the donors and volunteers who helped make this noble initiative a success.Together, we served with purpose and compassion.

3rd Check N Mate All India Open FIDE Rated Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament What an incredible weekend it was at Vishwa Vidyapeeth as we hosted the 3rd Check N Mate All India Open FIDE Rated Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament, in collaboration with Check N Mate Chess Academy, and proudly supported by AICF, KSCA, BUDCA, and more! Over 1500 brilliant players from across India and 2000+ enthusiastic parents came together, turning the campus into a true festival of minds and moves. From rising young talents to seasoned professionals, the energy, strategy, and sportsmanship on display was absolutely inspiring. We were honoured to welcome Grandmaster Laxman as our Chief Guest, whose interactive session with young players was one of the biggest highlights — children had the rare opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from a chess legend!
