Teaching Methodology for Tarang
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we believe that every child is born with unique strengths and abilities. A child’s first lessons begin at home, with parents—and especially mothers—playing the role of their first teachers. As they take their first steps into school, we embrace each child with care, understanding, and a nurturing environment that supports holistic growth.
Guided by Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, we recognize that children learn in different ways. Whether it’s through music, movement, art, language, or logic—every child has a dominant intelligence. At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we focus on identifying and nurturing these strengths to help each child thrive.
Our learning spaces go beyond classrooms. Children explore and grow through experiences in the Library, Art Lab, Music Lab, Dance Lab,Space Lab, Sand Pit, and Step and Learn. By focusing on each child’s strengths, we guide them to achieve their full potential.
We don’t just educate—we empower.
We Believe
We believe that education is not just about academics—it’s about nurturing responsible, grounded, and well-rounded individuals. That’s why we actively involve children in simple, meaningful tasks like growing vegetables, tidying their classrooms, placing their plates after meals, sharing with peers, and conducting assemblies. These daily routines help build empathy, independence, and a sense of responsibility from an early age.
Learning here extends far beyond the classroom. Our students enjoy field trips, campus nature walks, and even open-air classes under trees, turning every corner of the environment into a space for exploration and experiential learning.
We also place a strong emphasis on mind-body wellness. Practices like Pranayama (yogic breathing) are introduced to help children improve focus, emotional balance, and mental clarity. By understanding how breath influences brain function, children learn to calm their minds, manage stress, and enhance their learning potential.
We don’t just prepare children for exams—we prepare them for life.
Our Mascot
The Blue Dolphin of Tarang - Our Mascot
Meet Dolly, our cheerful blue dolphin mascot at Tarang! Intelligent, playful, caring, and full of charm, Dolly reflects the joyful spirit of our tiny tots. She’s sweet, a little mischievous, and deeply loved by our children — a true symbol of curiosity, courage, and fun. Dolly inspires our little ones to explore, learn, and grow with confidence.
At Tarang, Dolly is more than a mascot — she’s a friend on every child’s learning journey.
Pre-Primary Life at Tarang
Concept Based Learning
Our pre-primary programme spans three foundational years—Nursery, Lower Kindergarten, and Upper Kindergarten. The curriculum is thoughtfully paced to support the social, cognitive, and emotional development of each child. We provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes concept-based learning through colour-themed programs and age-appropriate activities. By encouraging independent thinking and curiosity, we help children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning—while also instilling important values like discipline and mutual respect.

Day Care
We understand the challenges of being a working parent, so we offer a safe and flexible day care facility for our in-house students after school. Children enjoy nap time after lunch, evening milk and snacks, and engaging recreational activities like the toy library and playtime. We provide a bus drop facility for regular hours, and for extended care, parents can pick up their children from the campus. Our day care ensures a nurturing and comfortable environment where your child feels cared for even beyond school hours.
Language, Math & EVS
Children develop phonics, communication, reading, and writing skills through interactive language activities. They explore numbers with rhymes, puzzles, and counting games, while discovering scientific concepts through hands-on experiences that encourage observation, investigation, and exploration.

Art & Craft
Mastering basic skills like cutting, pasting, writing their name, and counting is essential for young learners. The earlier children develop these pre-skills, the more confident they become in their learning journey.

Step And Learn
At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we believe in making learning engaging, interactive, and meaningful.
We’re proud to be among the first schools in the region to adopt this cutting-edge educational technology, creating exciting new ways for children to explore, interact, and grow.
We’ve introduced ‘Step and Learn’—an award-winning interactive floor that transforms traditional learning into a fun, movement-based experience.
This innovative tool uses motion sensors and floor projections to let children learn through play. By using their hands and feet, students engage in educational games tailored to their individual learning needs—encouraging collaboration, creativity, and active participation.

Music, Dance & Library
Pre-primary children enjoy music and dance sessions that build confidence and coordination through fun movement. Our cozy library encourages a love for stories and early reading skills, nurturing their imagination from the start.
Free Play & Structured Activities
Free play encourages creativity and social growth through open-ended exploration, while structured activities provide focused learning opportunities that build essential skills and discipline—all in a fun and engaging environment.
Pottery Classes for Pre-Primary
Our pre-primary students enjoy creative and hands-on learning through pottery classes. These sessions help develop their fine motor skills, enhance sensory experiences, and encourage artistic expression—all while having fun shaping clay into beautiful creations.

Chess Classes for UKG
Chess classes for UKG students introduce young minds to strategic thinking and problem-solving in a fun and engaging way. These sessions help improve concentration, memory, and decision-making skills while fostering patience and sportsmanship.
Organic Farming
Food plays a vital role in our curriculum at Vishwa Vidyapeeth. We teach children to grow their own produce to foster healthy eating habits, environmental awareness, and respect for resources. Our in-house kitchen leads by example, serving meals made with organic food grown right on campus.

Nutritious & Healthy Eating Habits
A clean, hygienic canteen serves nutritious Breakfast and Lunch prepared with high-quality cereals and fresh vegetables. Meals are served in a spacious dining hall for students and staff.

Special Classrooms for Pre-primary
At the Pre-Primary level, teaching, learning, and play are made engaging through fun-filled, activity-based methods. Classrooms at our Varthur campus are specially designed with artistic themes, nestled within the picturesque garden setting of the school—creating a joyful and stimulating environment for young learners.

Bhagavad Gita Classes
India’s rich cultural diversity is embraced through value-based learning that helps children connect with their roots. Meaningful experiences encourage respect, acceptance, and self-awareness. The Bhagavad Gita is introduced to develop focus, discipline, and mutual respect. This supports the holistic growth and moral development of every child.
Celebrations
Life is a celebration, and we believe it should be joyfully embraced every day. While the foundation of values begins at home, our daily assembly marks the start of recognizing and honoring special occasions. Through skits, group songs, speeches, and role plays, we introduce festivals, commemorations, and important events—making each day meaningful and memorable for our students.
Events
Our Pre-Primary curriculum is enriched with stimulating activities such as fancy dress, colour-themed weeks, and theme-based learning. These activities enhance knowledge, encourage sharing, and build confidence in our young learners. Through various competitions and engaging subjects across academics, sports, and performing arts, we nurture their abilities and creativity.

Field Trips
We believe learning goes beyond the classroom. By organizing field trips to farms, hospitals, fire stations, supermarkets, and even metro stations, we connect students with real-world experiences. We encourage parents and teachers to collaborate on projects like creating a teaching garden, where children can explore, observe, and learn directly from their environment. This hands-on approach weaves curiosity and practical knowledge into the curriculum.
