Sports

Physical Education is an integral part of the Vishwa Vidyapeeth curriculum for all of our students from the Pre-primary to the Secondary School

At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, alongside co-scholastic activities, students actively participate in a wide range of sporting events. During their primary schooling years, children have the opportunity to engage in multiple sports, gradually moving towards specialization as they progress to middle and secondary school. Our school boasts enhanced sporting facilities designed to train and prepare students for competitions at inter-house, inter-school, state, and national levels.

We strongly encourage maximum participation, personal growth, and individual ambition. Our aim is to foster healthy competition, promote social and cultural interaction, and inspire the pursuit of excellence—all while building lasting friendships within the school community. Sports play a vital role in shaping students’ character by boosting their self-confidence and helping them develop and refine their innate talents.

Health and Physical Education (HPE)

At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we view Health and Physical Education as an essential part of mainstream learning, aimed at helping students achieve good health, fitness, and vital life skills. HPE classes not only highlight the benefits of staying active and healthy but also contribute significantly to the holistic development of learners.

Fitness is a state of health and well-being, enabling individuals to perform daily activities without undue fatigue. Our approach aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. To instill these habits, we conduct 10 minutes of free-hand exercises and meditation every morning before assembly, in addition to regular physical education periods. This daily practice, combined with structured PE classes, fosters physical strength, mental clarity, and a lifelong commitment to healthy living.
