House System

Discover the Spirit of Unity and Excellence in Our School’s House System: Atri, Bharadwaja, Vishwamitra, and Vasista

At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we believe in nurturing not only academic brilliance but also character, leadership, and camaraderie. Our school’s House System is the embodiment of these principles, comprising four distinctive houses: Atri, Bharadwaja, Vishwamitra, and Vasista. Each house carries its unique emblem and represents a rich legacy of values and traditions. A number of events are conducted under the house system with the guidance of house In-charges and house teachers. Children of all the houses (Atri, Bharadwaja, Vishwamitra and Vasishta) participate in various Inter school and Inter house activities.

Atri

House Atri - The Beacon of Yellow:

House Atri, represented by the colour yellow, is named after the esteemed sage Atri. Known for his wisdom and humility, Sage Atri inspires our students to shine brightly like the sun, symbolising knowledge, enlightenment, and optimism. In House Atri, we foster an environment where curiosity and learning thrive, where every student aspires to reach their full potential, just as Atri reached the zenith of wisdom through dedication and humility.

Bharadwaja

House Bharadwaja - The Radiance of Red:

Red, the colour of House Bharadwaja, pays homage to the sagacious Bharadwaja, a sage celebrated for his inquisitiveness and innovative thinking. Our students in House Bharadwaja embody these qualities as they strive for excellence, seek creative solutions, and embrace challenges with courage. Together, they radiate the warmth and dynamism that are synonymous with the colour red.

Viswamitra

House Vishwamitra - The Purity of Beige:

House Vishwamitra stands for purity, truth, and unity, symbolised by the colour white. Named after the visionary sage Vishwamitra, this house instils values of leadership, determination, and unwavering resolve. Just as Vishwamitra transformed from a king to a sage, students in House Vishwamitra are encouraged to embark on journeys of self-discovery, aiming to become leaders who create positive change in the world.

Vasishta

House Vasista - The Vibrancy of Orange:

Vasista, a sage known for his wisdom and profound connection to nature, lends his name to House Vasista, represented by the colour orange. This house promotes harmony, eco-consciousness, and holistic well-being. Members of House Vasista are encouraged to harmonise their academic pursuits with a deep appreciation for the environment and the interconnectedness of all life forms.

Our House System at Vishwa Vidyapeeth is more than just a tradition; it is a way of life. It fosters healthy competition, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging among our students. It encourages them to embrace diversity, celebrate their unique qualities, and work together towards common goals.

We invite all students to be a part of this enriching experience, proudly donning the colours of Atri, Bharadwaja, Vishwamitra, or Vasista. Together, we strive for excellence, wisdom, unity, and holistic growth, forging bonds that last a lifetime. Welcome to Vishwa Vidyapeeth, where we honour our past, embrace the present, and shape a brighter future together.

Student Council

A student body will be nominated and appointed by the Headmistress/Principal in consultation with the teacher’s fraternity. Various prefects will be appointed who will look after the discipline, Co-curricular and sports activities under the physical education department.

Vishwa Vidyapeeth Student Council is nominated and conducted by the students under the supervision of the adults.

The Student Council delivers the following objectives:

  • Gives a voice for the student body
  • Gives students an opportunity to develop leadership by organising school activities and service projects that contribute to school spirit and community welfare.
  • Helps them to share beneficial ideas, interests and concerns across the entire school community.
  • Helps to monitor discipline and add colours to the entire functioning of the school
  • Helps to implement the student related activities which are age-appropriate
  • Gives the council students an exposure to leadership opportunities

Members of the student council are expected to maintain a high standard of personal conduct, must be in good standing with the faculty, students and administration and always maintain excellence in academics. The words and actions of members should lead their peers.

At Vishwa Vidyapeeth, we believe that the student council and its functions should be run upon the democratic parliamentary procedures. The council tries to involve all students who are interested in event planning, leadership roles or delivering more to the school.

Vishwa Vidyapeeth Student Council is nominated and conducted by the students under the supervision of the adults.
