Under Manak Inspire Awards at Vishwa Vidyapeeth we offer a platform for students to showcase their problem solving skills, curiosity & innovation through “IDEA Competition”. Students are shortlisted and ideas from 5 students are uploaded in the portal. Every year students have been nominated for the district level competitions and received Rs 10000 from the Department of Science and Technology.
Community is one of our maxims. Our Houses are like these small communities in themselves with their own distinctive character and atmosphere. Students are utmost loyal to their Houses and the many annual House competitions are keenly contested in a spirit of intense, but friendly rivalry. Each House has its own Head Captains and House Monitors.
Vishwa Vidyapeeth hosts different inter school competitions which includes ‘Kaleidoscope’ (Interschool Art & Craft Mela), ‘Ecoventure’ (Interschool debate on ecological issues), ‘Nutcrackers’ (Inter School Pre Primary competition) and ‘Balderdash’ (Interschool Language festival) etc. to name a few. VVP Students have brought in several laurels to the school with their excellent performances in various sports events at zonal, district, state and national level. This enhances the development of sports skills, high levels of discipline and team spirit.

The School regularly conducts aptitude based competitions such as word building, drawing, painting, theatre, singing, poetry writing, art, debates, quiz, elocutions (in English, Hindi and Kannada), storytelling, vegetable painting etc. These activities are conducted by professionals and we hope to get a sustained growth and result at the end of the day. Vishwa Vidyapeeth conducts South Zonal games which is a competitive structure that divides every stage into zonal, cluster and national levels for various sports like – Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, Handball, Volleyball, Chess, Skating, Swimming, Taekwon-do, Yogasana and Rope Skipping. Selection trials are conducted post which the training for the students are given in the morning or after school hours.
