Experiential Tour to Karwar

Experiential Tour to Karwar With a strong focus on experiential learning, the students of classes VIII, IX and XI visited INS Kadamba at Karwar. Students got a golden opportunity to board in INS VIKRANT. INS VIKRANT is India’s first aircraft carrier to be designed and built in the country. The day was marked by an enlightening address by admiral Ritish Sharma, and a series of engaging experiences. Throughout the exploration, students interacted with naval personnels, fostering a direct exchange of knowledge.The visit was coordinated by Colonel Sumit Basu. The students also visited the Vibhuti Falls and Yana Caves located at the Yana Village in the Sahyadri Mountain ranges of Kumta district.

Yonex-Sunrise Badminton

Yonex-Sunrise Badminton Yonex-Sunrise 77th Inter State – Inter Zonal & 86th Senior National Badminton Championships 2024 is being held at Bangalore, Karnataka from 18th to 24th December 2024. Our Director Ms. Suseela Santhosh led the inauguration of the programme on 18th December. Best Wishes to all the young champions for an awesome Game Performance in the competition ahead!

Bharatiya Kala Vaibhava

Bharatiya Kala Vaibhava The event was the culmination of an inspiring learning journey that began with heritage walks undertaken by students across various grades. These immersive experiences brought them face-to-face with India’s architectural marvels and cultural treasures, such as Belur, Hampi, Pondicherry, and Mahabalipuram, among others. Adding to the vibrancy of the event were student-led stalls, interactive workshops, and inspiring harates (discussions). Stalls showcased themes like traditional crafts, literature, music, food, and textiles, providing visitors with hands-on experiences and cultural insights. Workshops offered unique opportunities to explore art forms such as pottery, sculpture, rangoli, and block printing, along with musical sessions on instruments like the flute, harmonica, and Parai. The harates featured insightful discussions on topics ranging from Indian traditions and values to the significance of healthy living and mindful eating. The celebration began with the sacred ritual of lighting the lamp, accompanied by melodious chants that set a serene and auspicious tone for the festivities. Each evening during Bharatiya Kala Vaibhava was a vibrant celebration of India’s cultural diversity, leaving a lasting impression on every attendee.

Pragna Pradeepaha

Pragna Pradeepaha The school hosted the “Pragnapradeepaha” interschool Sanskrit competitions to promote the Sanskrit language and culture. Students from various schools participated, showcasing their proficiency and passion for the ancient language.The event provided a platform for students to deepen their understanding of Sanskrit, while emphasizing the importance of preserving ancient languages. It fostered a sense of pride and enthusiasm for Sanskrit among students, contributing to the celebration of cultural heritage.

Koti Geetha Lekhana Yagna

Koti Geetha Lekhana Yagna Vishwa Vidyapeeth organized the Koti Gita Yajna, a spiritual ritual focused on collective blessings, peace, and prosperity. The event allowed the community to embrace the divine knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita, fostering unity and spiritual growth.Through the recitation of Gita verses, participants invoked blessings for well-being and strengthened the spiritual bond within the community, promoting peace and harmony.

Proto Village fest

Proto Village fest The successful participation of Vishwa Vidyapeeth students in the Protovillage Fest 2024, titled The Resilience Rhapsody. This event brought together children from across the country, providing them with hands-on learning experiences focused on sustainability, innovation, and community building.In collaboration with the students of ProtoVillage, our students worked on projects that applied science and mathematics to local climate action. From September 24th to October 10th, urban and rural students came together to ideate and build solutions under the mentorship of field experts, scientists, and Vishwa Vidyapeeth faculty. These projects were later demonstrated at ProtoVillage during the Annual Science Festival, The Resilience Rhapsody, on October 19th.A major highlight of the event was an enchanting performance by three-time Grammy Award-winning musician Shri Ricky Kej, whose nature-inspired music captivated the audience. As a recognition of their successful completion of the projects, Shri Ricky Kej personally awarded certificates to the students, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. This honor added a significant value to the students’ experience.

Robotics Workshop

Robotics Workshop Otto DIY Robotics Workshop was conducted at Vishwa Vidyapeeth by Mr. Krithik Vijaykumar, CEO of Futura Robotics company. Our students Bhushan Chandrashekhar Katral of Class X and Raghava Kiran of class IX were part of the workshop for 7 days from 23.09.2024 to 29.09.2024. The session has enhanced the creativity and technical skills in the young minds as they were able to build, program and customize their own robots

VVPMUN

VVPMUN Vishwa Vidyapeeth successfully hosted its Model United Nations (MUN) event, where students from various schools participated in debates on global issues. The event allowed students to develop skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and diplomacy while simulating the United Nations. Delegates engaged in discussions on topics like climate change and international security. It was a successful and enriching experience, encouraging students to become informed and active global citizens.Through this enriching journey, students learned about the significance of cultural heritage, traditional art forms, and the history that shaped our nation. The heritage walk not only deepened their understanding of India’s glorious past but also inspired a sense of pride and responsibility in preserving our cultural legacy for future generations. The event was a memorable highlight of the celebration, reinforcing the importance of heritage in shaping national identity.

ISKCON Samskriti

ISKCON Samskriti ISKCON Samskriti, the biggest wing of ISKCON, Bangalore hosted its cultural carnival at Vishwa Vidyapeeth for all our students on 22nd July & 20th August. The festival saw vibrant participation from students across Pre Primary to Grade 10 wherein students got an opportunity to showcase their exceptional talents. The exciting fest was a celebration of India’s great traditions and customs. Competitions were held in various categories and this included: Radha Krishna Costume Contest Krishna Rhymes Recital Bhagavad Gita Chanting Storytelling Handwriting Competition Classical Dance Performances Painting and Pencil Shading Instrumental Music Performances Elocution Colouring Contest The event was a true celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, highlighting the diverse talents of the young participants.
