What are the academic programs being offered at Vishwa Vidyapeeth?
We offer Pre Primary classes which consist of four years spread out over Playgroup, Nursery, LKG & UKG. The entry age for Playgroup is 2 years. From Class 1 we offer three choices of curriculum – CBSE, ICSE & Cambridge International (IGCSE) at Yelahanka.

What are the extracurricular activities you offer?
The school has come up with new sports facilities to enhance sports coaching being provided to all students during school hours. Based on the choice of curriculum, the time allotted to each group of students for these activities will differ. We encourage students to participate in state level competitions or other competitions after we help them master the sport of their choice. We will be having after school programs once we identify potential players to build up the school team. We have also tied up with the sports academy within our premises to ensure that students can easily take up after school hour coaching as well to improve their skills further. Do parents have the opportunity to participate in school activities in any way?
Vishwa Vidyapeeth school believes that parents and teachers need to work together to bring a change in the child’s life. In this regard, we have various opportunities for parents to participate in their ward’s school life. For Example: Become a Guest Lecture in any field of your expertise, Volunteer for Field Trips, Sports, Event Management, Social awareness group activities, help with annual day / social day, etc.
We also celebrate many occasions like Independence Day, Republic day, Sports day, Annual day, Women’s day, etc. wherein all family members are invited to join us for the celebrations. For pre-primary we have add-on event days like Father’s day, Grandparent’s day, Open day, etc. which helps us to give you an opportunity to join your ward at school and create more beautiful memories.
What is the system of assessment followed?

Are there lady assistants for helping kids to the restroom? Does my child have to be completely toilet trained to join Vishwa Vidyapeeth pre primary school?
Yes. Children are accompanied by lady assistants or lady teachers. Your child does not need to have complete toilet training to join pre primary as this is a gradual process and we do not believe in forcing or scaring the child to learn this in a jiffy. This will also be taught to them as a part of their grooming process.
Does Vishwa Vidyapeeth have day care options?
We have day care options for pre primary students (Child can opt to return in the school bus along with senior class students). Kindly check these timings with the admission team.
No additional food needs to be sent for day care timings as the children will be given adequate food during this period. Only authorized persons with proper id cards will be allowed to pick up children after day care timings.
How often are Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) conducted in an academic year?
We generally conduct PTMs thrice a year. Apart from these, parents can also schedule an appointment with class teacher, Coordinator or head of school at any time.
What kind of action will be taken for disciplinary violations by students?
Vishwa Vidyapeeth believes that discipline is the undercurrent that should be followed in our school. We take disciplinary violations seriously and sort them out in the most sensitive manner possible. We have a strict discipline and complaint redressal policy.
What is your Child safety policy?
We take child safety very seriously and for this reason, we have ensured that there are no unauthorized personnel inside the campus at any time. Strict norms are followed during recruitments and the records are maintained for investigation by authorities at any point. The school also deploys female security guards for added vigilance. We are equipped with CCTV surveillance round the clock.
What happens if my child falls ill at school?
We give prime importance to the health of a child. If children are ill, parents are encouraged to keep them at home to assist faster recovery, especially if the disease is contagious. Any alterations in the food menu are accommodated to ensure the child is able to recoup faster. Minor injuries can be treated at school but parents will be contacted when the injury or illness requires further medical attention. No medicine is administered to the child at school without written permission from parents in this regard.
How much importance is given to sports?
Sports are considered an integral part of education at VVP. Students can choose from a wide range of individual and team sports. We offer specialized after-school coaching for certain sports at the academy.
How often are educational tours organized?
Tours are organized during every quarter depending on the class.
Is the school affiliated to any religion?
We are a secular school and are neither affiliated to nor endorse any religion.
How does the school communicate the child’s progress to the parents?
The parents are updated about the child’s progress through PTMs. The Class teacher and Coordinator invite parents for one to one meetings to discuss the child’s progress
What is the quality of teachers and how do we make sure they deliver the same?
A strict evaluation process is conducted for recruitment of trained teachers who have to pass through the three steps of interview which includes written test, demo round and personal interaction. Teachers with proper qualifications like B.Ed., M.Ed., NTTE trained etc. are recruited and then given an induction training program which helps them to improve their classroom management skills, subject knowledge as well as help them mould as per the institution’s programs and policies. Periodical observations and feedback are taken as measures to ensure that there is no dearth in the quality of teaching.
Is Criminal background verification (CBV) done for all the staff members?
Yes, CBV check is done for all teaching and non-teaching staff.
