  • Teacher-Centred Instruction: The classroom is under the authority of the teachers, who oversee all activities. The majority of class time is dedicated to the teacher elucidating concepts and giving out individual assignments.
  • Small Group Instruction: This involves constant activities around workstations with groups collaborating with the teacher and other groups working independently on different activities. Our curriculum seamlessly incorporates the core principles of this approach, assisting teachers in structuring their lessons accordingly.
  • Student-Led Approach: Students are involved in planning, implementation, and assessments in student-centred classrooms. This involvement places more responsibility and ownership on the learners rather than on the teacher, making them independent learners.
  • Project-Based Learning: Students engage in comprehensive projects that involve acquiring knowledge, conducting research, critical thinking, evaluation, analysis, decision-making, and collaboration. These projects are significant and address real-world issues, making an impact beyond the classroom.
  • Inquiry-Based Learning: Learning driven by questioning is the essence of inquiry-based learning, which involves captivating students by helping them make connections to the real world through exploration and asking thought-provoking questions. This approach is mainly used in Environmental Studies (TWAU) and in Mathematics classes.
  • Flipped Classroom: Flexible environment, Learning culture shift, Intentional content, and Professional educator - the Flip Classroom aims to create more opportunities for active learning during class time, rather than focusing on direct instruction.
  • Personalised Education: The approach involves addressing the specific needs, strengths, and weaknesses of each learner. Every student receives a personalised learning plan based on their existing knowledge and preferred learning style. Tailoring the instruction to each student provides multiple benefits for both teachers and students, some of which may not have been fully realised yet.
  • Storytelling Pedagogy: An enjoyable tool that captivates every child, enhancing the learning experience and allowing students to connect with the characters, this method fosters interpersonal connections and contributes to personal growth for students. This approach closes the educational divide, captures students' interest, and encourages diversity and inclusion.
